Vendor is requested to send pricing in on Amendment #1 Invitation to Tender Document as items have been updated on the item. ******* ***** Bidding Instructions - Monthly Rates and Attachments Vendors shall submit only the monthly rental rate, excluding applicable taxes, for each equipment item identified on the Invitation to Tender. Where attachments are required, the applicable attachment rate identified in the Specifications will be added to the equipment's monthly rental rate. Attachment rates are not to be included in the vendor's bid price. Required attachments will be identified as separate line items on the resulting contract. For equipment items where a bucket size is specified or required, the vendor shall clearly state the bucket size being offered with their bid. The applicable bucket rate, as identified in the Specifications, will then be added to the monthly equipment rental rate. Vendors should not include attachment or bucket rates in the monthly rate submitted on the Invitation to Tender unless specifically instructed otherwise. ******* The intent of this tender is to solicit firm monthly rental pricing for heavy equipment required by the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure (DTI) for winter operations during the 2026-2027 season. Equipment requirements include backhoes, front-end loaders, graders and plow trucks, together with specified attachments. The anticipated rental period is November 9, 2026, through May 7, 2027. DTI reserves the right to return equipment before May 7, 2027. Rental charges will cease on the effective return date, subject to the proration provisions in Section 5.0. Quoted equipment rental rates shall remain firm for the duration of the applicable PO. Delivery, pickup, mobilization and demobilization to and from the identified DTI location shall be included in the quoted monthly equipment rate.
