Which procurement portals do you cover?
We currently ingest CanadaBuys (federal), Alberta Purchasing Connection, BC Bid (via MERX), SaskTenders, MERX (national + Ontario), Biddingo (4 regions), and a small set of municipal feeds. New portals are added based on customer demand.
How do you decide which tenders to show me?
Matching is algorithmic — not AI. Each opportunity is scored against your trade specialty, provinces of operation, contract size band, bonding capacity, compliance certifications, and your stated preferences. That makes matching instant, reproducible, and inexpensive — and it means you can audit exactly why something showed up.
Where does AI come in?
AI drafts the proposal itself. When you ask for a proposal on a specific match, we detect the buyer's bid format, pull the relevant provincial codes and trade-agreement rules, and generate a draft you can edit. Every draft is your starting point, not your finish line — you review and submit it yourself.
Are AI-generated proposals safe to submit as-is?
No — and we say this loudly. AI drafts are a productivity boost, not a guarantee. We run automated guardrails (e.g. removing local-preference language that would violate the New West Partnership Trade Agreement, enforcing Buy Canadian commitments on large federal projects), but you are responsible for verifying every claim, price, and certification before submitting.
What does it cost?
Free forever for 3 AI proposals/month. Pro is $49 CAD/month for 30 proposals + unlimited matches. Enterprise is $149 CAD/month for unlimited everything plus priority support. Full breakdown on the pricing page.
How do cancellations and refunds work?
Cancel anytime from Settings → Billing; you keep paid features until the end of the billing period and aren't charged again. We issue prorated refunds in two cases: cancelling within 7 days of your first paid charge with fewer than 3 proposals generated, or a documented Service outage of more than 24 consecutive hours. Can I bring my own AI key (BYOK)?
Yes. Paste your own Anthropic, Google, or OpenAI key under Settings → API Keys. We'll use it for proposal generation instead of our platform key. Keys are encrypted at rest with AES-GCM and never shown again once saved.
What data do you store about me?
Your profile, bid matches, proposal drafts, and any documents you upload to your brand kit or portfolio. You can download everything we hold in a single JSON file from Settings → Export my data, and you can permanently delete your account from the same page. We never sell your data.
Where is my data hosted?
Application data lives in Supabase (Postgres) in a Canadian region. Static assets and API runtime are on Vercel. AI calls go to Anthropic, Google, or OpenAI depending on the tier in use; prompt content is sanitized before being sent to providers.
Do you guarantee uptime?
We aim for high availability but don't publish a formal SLA on the Free plan. Documented outages longer than 24 consecutive hours qualify for a prorated refund on paid plans. Status updates are posted on our incident page when relevant.
I'm a subcontractor — is this still useful?
Yes. Onboarding has a separate path for trades (electrical, plumbing & mechanical, structural & finishing). We surface tenders where your trade is in scope and proposals are formatted for subcontract responses, not just prime bids.
