(c) Detailed instructions on how to create a "Vendor Account" and submit an electronic bid are available through the City of Moncton's website @ http://www.moncton.ca/bidding-opportunities. ******************************************************************************************** OVERVIEW - PROJECT SCOPE: The City of Moncton wishes to engage the services of a professional, qualified, and experienced Contractor to furnish all labour, materials, equipment, supervision, permits, transportation, disposal, and incidentals necessary to complete the demolition and removal of the former Codiac Regional RCMP Detachment, located at 520 Main Street, Moncton, NB, including all foundations, structures, architectural components, mechanical systems, electrical systems, site features, and all associated appurtenances, as shown on the Drawings and specified herein. The scope of work also includes the removal, abandonment, capping, or relocation of existing municipal services, including water, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer systems, as indicated on the Drawings, and the coordination of electrical connections and disconnections with NB Power. The disposal of demolished materials at approved facilities and the provision of all transportation, permits, documentation, and environmental controls necessary to complete the Work is also required, as well as the protection of adjacent properties and services, sediment and erosion control measures, site restoration, and all subsidiary and incidental work necessary to leave the site in a safe, neat, and stable condition upon completion. ***************************************************************************************** Where the estimated value of this procurement falls within the thresholds for Goods and Services specified for broader Canadian public sector entities under the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), this procurement is limited to CANADIAN SUPPLIERS ONLY, in accordance with Article 503 (Item 4(b)) (https://www.cfta-alec.ca/cfta-agreement/chapter-five-government-procurement).
