Organization: Forestry and Parks Scope/Description: .1 Perform Trails Management Strategy and Park Infrastructure Assessment services for Whitney Lakes Provincial Park. .2 The scope of the project focuses on a Trails Management and Implementation strategy for the Whitney Lakes Provincial Park trail system. This includes completing an infrastructure assessment of structures along the trail and identifying trail conditions which includes, flooding concerns, surfacing issues, dead end routes, failing structures, overall connection issues and accessibility improvements at key locations. .3 Additionally the scope of this project features an infrastructure assessment work at the two campgrounds. Ross Lake includes two key buildings (shower house and check-in booth) and the boat launch area. Whitney Lake Campground includes the granular roadway structure and the boat launch area. 4. The trail and park infrastructure assessment work will form final reports outlining overall conditions, recommendations, remaining useful life, etc. .5 Work under this contract, includes: all components as identified in the RFP. .6 Project Locations: Whitney Lakes Provincial Park (53°51'11.9"N 110°31'31.7"W), Lindbergh, AB Ross Lake Campground (53°49'07.7"N 110°29'11.6"W), Frog Lake, AB Whitney Lake Campground (53°49'43.9"N 110°32'50.2"W), Frog Lake, AB Submission: Please refer to the RFP for submission details.
