STEPHEN Published: 2026/10/01 10:55 The Municipal District of St. Stephen is inviting from qualified contractors, proposals for its Residential Solid Waste Collection and Disposal services for Zones 1, 2 and 3 as described in the tender document and outlined in the included map. Bidders are required to submit a proposal on each Zone separately, and are required to bid on all three Zones. Pricing evaluation will be based on total cost over the term from February 1, 2027 to October 31, 2030 for all three Zones combined. The contract will be effective for the following Periods: Zone 1 (MDSS Ward 2) - November 1, 2027 - October 31, 2030 Zone 2 (MDSS Ward 1) - February 1, 2027 - October 31, 2030 Zone 3 (LSD Subunit Western Charlotte) - February 1, 2027 - October 31, 2030 The tender will be in the form of a Request For Quotation whereas factors, other than cost alone, are considered in the determination of the proposal to be submitted to Council for approval. The lowest or any tender may not be accepted as the Municipal District of St. Stephen reserves the right to reject any and all tenders. In addition this tender is subject to a budget, and any or all tenders may be rejected if the proposals exceed the budget or otherwise do not meet the tender specifications. Closing date for receiving Request For Quotation proposals: The response to the request for quotation is to be completed as detailed in the tender documents and delivered in hard copy (one unbound copy) by 1:30 pm ATL on Tuesday, October 13, 2026 toL Mr. Jeff Renaud, CAO Att: Frank Godsoe, Treasurer Municipal District of St. Stephen 22 Budd Ave St. Stephen, NB E3L 1E9 All potential bidders are required to register with the NBON, login and indicate an interest in the tender, and obtain all information, including tender and addendums, if any, from the registered NBON site. This tender is subject to various agreements as noted in the tender document.
