Scope

Organization: Town of Banff The Town of Banff, the “Town”, invites quotations for the supply and delivery of two (2) new highway tractors suitable for municipal hauling operations. The Town’s preferred configuration is day cab; however, sleeper cab configurations will also be considered where the proposed units otherwise meet the mandatory requirements and technical specifications set out in this RFQ. The highway tractors will be used to support regional distribution and bulk hauling operations, including pulling a 53-foot tri-axle trailer used for long-haul waste hauling. The Town is seeking complete, fully assembled, new and unused units that are delivered ready for municipal service. The Town expects the successful Bidder to provide complete turnkey units, including all required equipment, components, delivery, documentation, standard warranty coverage, and initial familiarization/training. Bidders may propose two non-identical units, provided each proposed unit meets the RFQ requirements and the Bidder clearly identifies any differences between the proposed units in its Quotation.
