Scope

Organization: Town of Sexsmith The Town of Sexsmith, as managing partner, invites qualified consulting firms to submit proposals for the completion of a Regional Stormwater Implementation Plan in collaboration with the County of Grande Prairie. The successful proponent will provide professional consulting, engineering, environmental, regulatory, and capital planning services to support enhanced regional stormwater management, flood mitigation, infrastructure optimization, and long-term municipal planning. All proposals received will be subject to all terms and conditions in the Request for Proposal (“RFP”). The Proponent shall make all inquiries and investigations necessary for the preparation and submission of their Proposal and shall be deemed to have made same prior to submitting the Proposal response. The Town’s objectives for the Regional Stormwater Implementation Plan are to: a. Develop a regional stormwater implementation plan that supports reliable, responsive, and sustainable stormwater service delivery. b. Identify stormwater infrastructure deficiencies, flooding risks, drainage constraints, and system capacity issues. c. Complete technical, environmental, and regulatory analysis to inform practical improvement options. d. Develop preliminary and detailed design options for drainage, catch basins, culverts, easements, alignment alternatives, and related infrastructure improvements. e. Provide cost models, cost-benefit analysis, and prioritized recommendations to support decision-making. f. Update municipal 10-year capital plans to reflect recommended regional stormwater improvements. Scope of Work and Deliverables a. Project kickoff meeting and confirmed project workplan. b.
