Scope

Organization: Forestry and Parks Parks South West is seeking a contractor to provide an operator and snow removal equipment to clear parking lots and access to facilities during the winter period (approximately 20 weeks). The main areas requiring snow removal are: Beaver Mines road to the boat launch; Syncline North and South staging areas; Carbondale; O’Haggan; Beauvais; and Police Lake Outpost as required. These sites within the SW Area experience snow events every year. Snow accumulation prevents access to parking and staging areas where recreational and outdoor activities occur. An on-call contractor is required to provide all equipment and expertise necessary to ensure that all areas and access roads, as directed by the contract manager or a delegate, are cleared to Parks recognized standard as agreed in the start-up meeting for this contract. Refer to the RFP document for additional information and complete scope of work. Submission: Proposals must be submitted electronically, via email, in Microsoft Word or Adobe Acrobat format by the RFP Closing Date and Time. The email subject line should indicate that it is a Proposal and include the RFP number and title. Refer to the RFP document for specific instructions on submitting a Proposal - please read carefully to ensure that all required information and documentation is provided in your Proposal.
