Scope

Organization: Infrastructure This project aims to increase erosion resiliency and strengthen the stormwater management system at the Royal Tyrrell Museum in Drumheller, Alberta through a combination of upgrades to existing infrastructure and the introduction of new infrastructure. The work will include the supply and installation of naturalized and armoured swales, new catch basins, rip rap at culvert inlets and outlets, and slope stability products in various locations around the museum property. In the existing condition, catch basins on steep slopes are being undermined by erosion, and existing ditches are not capable of carrying runoff without spilling over and flooding Tyrrell Museum Road, the access point to the museum’s main entrance and main lookout point.
