Issued by: Village of Loreburn The Loreburn Recreation Board invites qualified contractors to submit proposals for the replacement of the existing metal roof and exterior wall cladding (re-tinning) of the Loreburn Arena. Originally constructed in the 1960s, the proposed project is intended to renew the building envelope, improve weather resistance, and extend the service life of the facility. The Loreburn Rec Board is actively pursuing fundraising and grant opportunities to support the project, with construction anticipated to begin in 2027. The purpose of this RFP is to obtain anticipated project costs and project information to assist the Loreburn Rec Board with project planning, fundraising, grant applications and establishing an anticipated project budget. The issuance of this RFP does not constitute a commitment by the Rec Board to award a contract. The timing and commencement of the work will be subject to available funding, grant approvals and final approval by the Rec Board.
