Issued by: Chinook School Division No. 211 Chinook School Division has appointed Quorex Construction Services Ltd. as Construction Manager for the Swift Current Comprehensive High School Mechanical, Electrical and Building Code Upgrades project. The respective parties are pleased to announce that bid opportunities for work packages are now available to the subcontractor community. As part of the procurement process, mechanical contractors have been prequalified and only the prequalified mechanical contractors identified below will be eligible to receive the mechanical bid package and submit bids for the mechanical scope of work. Other subcontractors and suppliers are encouraged to express interest and participate in their respective scopes as opportunities become available through the project. The modernization of the 26,942 m² (290,000 ft²) Grade 9–12 High School is a significant infrastructure project aimed at enhancing the building’s functionality, safety, and efficiency. Originally constructed to meet the educational needs of its community, the school now requires substantial upgrades to meet current standards and ensure a sustainable and safe environment for students, staff, and visitors. The scope of the project includes comprehensive rehabilitation of mechanical and electrical systems throughout the facility.
