Organization: Parkland County This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by Parkland County (the “County”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Consulting Services for 2027 Road Rehabilitation, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix A) (the “Deliverables”). Parkland County is a rural municipality located immediately west of Edmonton. Covering an area of 256,802 hectares (634,571 acres), it is one of the largest in size and one of the highest populated of all rural municipalities in Alberta. Parkland County has grown to a community of over 30,000 people and has seen generations of families continue to enjoy country living. Parkland County is seeking proposals from professional engineering consulting firms to provide services for the 2027 ACP Road Rehabilitation program. Services shall include but are not limited to: Phase 1 • Preliminary Engineering Design and Report • Detailed Engineering Design, Report and Estimates • Contractor Procurement Package and Procurement Support Phase 2 • Pre-Construction Meeting, Construction Supervision, Inspection, Administration • Post Construction Inspection and Administration Budget is currently approved for advancement into Phase 1 in 2026. Phase 2 will be awarded subject to additional budget approvals by Parkland County. The County expects budget approval for Phase 2 to be granted in January 2027. Parkland County reserves the right to defer or cancel any phases and provides no guaranteed work following the award of Phase 1.
