Scope

Organization: Rocky View County Rocky View County is seeking a Contractor to provide Crushing, Stockpiling of Aggregates & other work at the Reeve Pit & Griffin Pit located in Rock View County. The work under the terms of this Contract involves the crushing and stockpiling of aggregates at the Reeve Pit and Griffin Pit which is located in the Rocky View County. The Contractor shall work within the limits shown on the pit plans or as directed by the Consultant. Stockpile locations for reject sand, oversize aggregate and Contract materials shall be as indicated on the pit plans or as directed by the Consultant. The Contractor shall note and be prepared to comply with Section 3.2.3.1 of the Standard Specifications for Highway Construction: “All material up to and including 300 mm diameter shall be crushed.” Any oversized rock shall be stockpiled for the County’s use. Submission: Bidders must submit Tenders by email only to publicbids@rockyview.ca; *On your e-mail submission, you are requested to indicate “Delivery Receipt” requested. *Maximum attachment size of 10 MB. *Indicate “Tender for Construction, ITT 26-011” with the time and date of tender opening clearly marked in the email subject line. *Indicate name and address clearly in email so that the submission can be identified.
