Scope

Organization: City of Calgary The City of Calgary is seeking proposals from qualified proponents to provide professional engineering services for the assessment and certification of selected isolation devices for use as single device isolations in support of safe work activities and confined space-entry requirements. The Requirements are limited to technical review, condition assessment, engineering analysis, and certification of isolation devices supplied by The City or The City’s Contractor. The successful Consultant will not be responsible for the supply, fabrication, installation, modification, or replacement of any isolation device under this Agreement. Services will be requested on an as-needed basis when Water Treatment facilities require a certified single device isolation system. The purpose of this work is to support safe and certified temporary isolation of process equipment and confined spaces to enable maintenance, inspection and infrastructure upgrades while maintaining continuous facility operations. Please note: This RFP is only for The City of Calgary's pre-qualified consultants.
