Scope

Issued by: Water Security Agency The work consists of implementing four localized conveyance improvement "spot fixes" along the Upper Qu'Appelle River to improve berm integrity, and erosion protection. The scope generally includes clearing and grubbing, topsoil stripping and replacement, excavation, placement, and compaction of impervious fill to construct berm upgrades. Some locations include the installation of corrugated steel pipe drainage inlets with flap gates along with placement of geotextile, gravel armor, riprap, and associated erosion and sediment control measures. The project also includes temporary access roads, care of water, environmental protection measures, site restoration, seeding, and reinstatement of disturbed areas following construction.
