Issued by: Village of Ceylon The Village of Ceylon is seeking qualified contractors for CEY2026-03 to complete the removal and replacement of the existing roof tin on the Ceylon Rink. Work includes full removal and disposal of all current roofing materials, installation of new metal roof panels, flashing, drip edges, ridge components, ice/water shielding, and complete weatherproofing of all penetrations. The anticipated project timeline is October 19 to December 31, 2026, with flexibility to accommodate fall weather conditions. Contractors are responsible for obtaining all required building permits, utility disconnection permits, and must comply with the National Building Code of Canada, the Saskatchewan Fire Code, and all applicable Village bylaws. Bids for CEY2026-03 must be submitted by 3:00 PM on October 9, 2026, with all questions due by 3:00 PM on October 2, 2026. Altered, incomplete, conditional, invalid or late bids may be rejected. Evaluation criteria include price, relevant experience, equipment condition, proposed schedule, and OH&S record. The successful bidder will provide full general contracting services, permitting, materials, construction, warranty documentation, safety compliance, and complete site restoration.
