Organization: Infrastructure BGIS on behalf of Alberta Infrastructure The Devon Research Centre and Alberta Research Centre ductwork has been tested for lead and asbestos, and has been found to contain both. Air monitoring has indicated that the lead and asbestos is not airborne under typical HVAC operating conditions. The ductwork is required to be cleaned in accordance with the National Air Duct Cleaning Association (NADCA) standards, and low risk asbestos clean up requirements.
